2019 Honda HR-V Overview - Honda has been building small SUVs for the Japanese market for decades, but the HR-V arrived in America for the 2016 model year as part of a wave of subcompact crossovers. The HR-V is built on the same platform as the subcompact Honda Fit passenger car, but unlike the Fit, the HR-V is available with all-wheel drive.
