Sport ($35,060) has 18-in alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, auto-off LED headlights, iActivsense driver aids (

rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning/lane-keeping assistance, and automatic high beams), keyless entry/ignition, rain-sensing wipers, power windows/door locks, heated side mirrors, rear privacy glass, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, 60/40 split/folding second-row seat, 50/50 split/folding third-row seat, Mazda Connect infotainment system with 10.25-in full-color touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, two USB ports, internet radio, and a 6-speaker audio system.
Touring ($36,850) adds leather seating surfaces, powered slide/recline second-row seating, powered liftgate, 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with lumbar support, and two USB ports for the second row. Touring trim is eligible for a Touring Premium package that adds LED fog lights, powered moonroof, front/rear parking sensors, second-row retractable window shades, wireless charging, two USB ports for the third row, satellite radio, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. 2021 CX-9 Carbon Edition ($42,180) has the contents of the Touring Premium package and heated captain’s chairs in the second row, adding red leather seating surfaces, metallic black interior accents, automatic reverse emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, heated/ventilated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings, and hands-free liftgate operation. The exterior has metallic black-finished 20-inch alloy wheels, black side mirror housings (these are also power-folding), adaptive headlights, wiper de-icer, and Satin Chrome roof rails. The Carbon Edition comes in Polymetal Gray.
Grand Touring ($43,040) doesn’t have some of the special cosmetic elements of the Carbon Edition, but still has the equipment from the Touring Premium package. It also comes with 20-in silver-finished alloy wheels, head-up display, navigation, heated steering wheel, and a 360-degree camera system.
Signature ($47,705) has all-wheel drive as standard, LED grille lighting accents, Nappa leather upholstery (with upgraded quilting and piping), rosewood trim, and a center console for the second row. Individual options include three paint upgrades (the popular Soul Red Crystal Metallic is $595), a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and a 3,500-pound trailer hitch.
