The RS trim has no performance upgrades and still uses the base 1.5-liter engine. It’s primarily an appearance package for the LS trim. The RS model has black Chevy emblems, a black grille, a rear spoiler, dual-outlet exhaust, and 18-inch black chrome-finish wheels. Interior upgrades include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and a power driver’s seat. Key features of the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu LS include:

The Malibu Hybrid uses a hybrid powertrain that returns 49 city/43 highway mpg. The equipment list is similar to the LT trim other than what’s under the hood. However, it doesn’t come standard with remote start, heated front seats, or LED taillights. Those features are available in a Convenience and Technology Package that’s optional for the Malibu Hybrid. Other than that, the Hybrid’s option packages are the same as the LT’s packages. Key features of the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu LT include:
