The F82 M4 GTS is an M Series car with a limited production of approximately 700 units worldwide and only 300 or so making their way to the United States. The M4 GTS is a special car not only because of its aggressive looks and hair-raising performance, but it also happens to be the first time a limited-edition BMW M4 model has been made available in the US market.
Upon first glance at an M4 GTS, it's immediately apparent that it's a track-focused car that happens to be street-legal. The massive three-way adjustable carbon fiber rear wing is one of the first giveaways that this isn't your standard F82 M4. Another distinct feature of the M4 GTS is the rear-seat delete to make room for the roll bar with eye-popping Acid Orange paint. The roll bar is also visible from the exterior and seamlessly pairs with the Acid Orange wheels and front splitter.
Not only does the M4 GTS look like a racecar, but it also has the performance to match. BMW pushed the engineering envelope by including a water injection system to improve power output and engine longevity. The M4 GTS is the first production road car to feature a water injection that sprays water into the intake manifold to reduce the air intake temperature by 80 degrees Fahrenheit. BMW has implemented a safety system to adjust the boost pressure and timing to keep the engine safe if the water reservoir runs dry.
Last but not least is the three-way adjustable M coilover suspension that allows for fine-tuning compression and rebound settings. The low-speed and high-speed compression is independently adjustable to tailor the suspension for different racetracks. The highly adjustable suspension allows the M4 GTS to stay planted on the track when utilizing its maximum power of 493 HP / 442 LB-FT to rocket to its blistering top speed of nearly 190 MPH.
