The BMW M5 has continuously made substantial power throughout its lifespan, and the F90 M5 CS is no exception with its 627 HP / 553 TQ. The incredible performance of the twin-turbo 4.4L V8 paired with the xDrive drivetrain propels the M5 CS to 60 miles per hour from a standstill in 2.9 seconds. The immense power and acceleration have earned the M5 CS the title of the quickest and most powerful BMW production vehicle in history at the time of production.

Earning the title of the quickest BMW is an impressive engineering feat, considering the M5 CS tips the scales at over two tons. Even with a healthy weight reduction of 230 pounds compared to the M5 Competition, the M5 CS weighs 4,114 pounds. BMW employs extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the M5 CS to keep weight down, including the hood, front splitter, mirrors, rear diffuser, and spoiler. On top of using exotic materials, there is a reduction in soundproofing material to shave off the pounds further.

One of the most notable weight reductions comes from M Carbon ceramic brakes that shave an impressive 51 lbs off the vehicle weight compared to the M Compound Brakes found on the M5 Competition model. A set of Gold Bronze 20-inch forged wheels pairs nicely with the carbon ceramic brakes, and further help shed pounds without sacrificing performance or durability.

Not only does the F90 M5 have the looks of a super sedan, but it also has an exhaust note to back it up. Thanks to an electronically controlled exhaust that features multiple modes (Efficient, Sport, Sport+), the M5 CS can range from subdued to snarling.

Another standout feature on the M5 CS is the rear bucket seats that closely resemble the M carbon bucket sport seats found in the first row. The addition of rear bucket seats looks fantastic and will allow your passengers to stay firmly planted when pushing this M Series car to its performance limits.
