Toyota Corolla Hybrid (1st Generation: 2020 - Current)

Key Improvements: The current Corolla Hybrid sedan arrives with all the improvements of the non-hybrid <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/toyota/corolla">Toyota Corolla</a> sedan. That means you'll get a roomy, comfortable space for four (five in a pinch), Toyota's latest multimedia and safety tech, and a car that excels in all its crash test trials. Four trims are powered by the same 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine and electric motor setup, resulting in a combined fuel economy rating of 52 mpg (48 mpg with all-wheel drive). The Corolla's standard Safety Sense-P driver-assist suite expands to include traffic sign recognition, lane-tracing assist, and adaptive cruise control with a stop-and-go feature. On the entertainment front, Apple CarPlay arrives, with Android Auto eventually making its way into the Corolla (see Other Changes section). A JBL audio system is also available. 

Model Updates: For 2021, the equipment list adds Android Auto and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2023 Corolla sees improvements to the hybrid engine and the addition of AWD as an option.
