What's New in the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque?
All 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque models are now P250 models powered by the turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 246 hp. Last year’s mild-hybrid powertrain, with 296 horsepower, has been discontinued. Also, Sirius satellite radio has been made standard across the lineup, as has a nifty 3D Surround Camera that can gauge the depth of the water you might cross and while providing a helpful view of the ground below the front of the Evoque. In other Evoque news, the Blind Spot Assist Pack has been made standard on the SE, while a Driver Assist Pack (which contains the Blind Spot Assist Pack) is now standard on the HSE. The main feature of the Driver Assist Pack is adaptive cruise control. Also, the top Evoque, the HSE, gets illuminated scuff plates for 2021.

As a good blend of desirable content at a fair price, an Evoque in P250 SE trim catches our fancy. In addition to 20-inch alloy wheels, a power tailgate, and the significantly better Pivi Pro infotainment system, the Evoque SE comes with a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and heated side mirrors, three features we can all appreciate.

P250 S ($43,000) is remarkably well equipped. In addition to a leather interior, LED headlights, and 18-inch alloy wheels, the P250 S has automatic emergency braking and a 6-speaker stereo with
Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The
P250 SE ($48,000) gets power front seats and a power tailgate, plus 20-inch alloy wheels, premium LED headlights and a blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert (which should be standard on all Evoques). The
R-Dynamic P250 S ($44,900) and
R-Dynamic P250 SE ($49,600) are equipped similarly to the respective P250 S and P250 SE models but have a much sportier look. R-Dynamic modifications include a unique grille and revised bumpers, along with an upgraded interior that features two-tone seats, dark aluminum trim, and a steering wheel with perforated leather. With 14-way power seats (covered in perforated Windsor leather) and a gesture-controlled power tailgate, the

adaptive cruise control and blind-spot assist with a rear cross-traffic monitor. Four notable option packages on the 2021 Evoque: The Technology Pack includes a head-up display, the ClearSight digital rearview mirror, wireless smartphone charging, and a significantly upgraded Pivi Pro infotainment system with dual 10-in screens. The Driver Assist Pack is highlighted by adaptive cruise control, as well as a blind-spot assist with a rear cross-traffic monitor. The Dynamic Handling Pack comes with adaptive suspension that automatically optimizes the Evoque chassis for the given conditions. Includes driver-selectable settings and red brake calipers. Last, we’d recommend the Cold Climate Pack if you live where it snows. It includes a heated windshield and heated washer jets, plus a heated steering wheel. Note: Adaptive suspension is available as a stand-alone option on the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, as are a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, a cabin air purifier, and massaging heated and cooled front seats upholstered in Windsor leather.
