How Much Does a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 Cost?
All 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE models, including the entry-level
GLE 350 ($54,750 plus $1,050 destination), have the MBUX “Hey, Mercedes” user interface, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and standard Apple Carplay/Android Auto. Moreover, all GLEs get LED headlights and taillights, GPS navigation, Sirius XM satellite radio, five USB ports, and 64 colors of ambient interior lighting. A 2021
GLE 450 ($62,500) ups the content quotient with the powerful and smooth inline-6 engine, along with standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and optional air suspension with E-Active Body Control. A third-row seat is optional on the GLE 450, just like it is on the GLE 350. Another 4Matic model, the
GLE 580 ($78,450) comes with the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and standard air suspension, along with 19-inch alloy wheels, AMG Line body styling, and optional E-Active Body Control. Naturally, the AMG GLE models are packed with plenty of go-fast gear. On the
AMG GLE 53 ($72,350), this means the 429-horsepower version of the inline-6, AMG sport seats, and the AMG steering wheel, plus active LED headlamps, LED taillights, 20-inch AMG alloy wheels, and an active parking program. The Mercedes-
AMG GLE 63 S ($113,950) builds on that with the 603-horsepower twin-turbo V8, aluminum shift paddles, AMG performance exhaust, AMG sport seats (upholstered in Nappa leather), an electronic limited-slip differential, 21-inch alloy wheels, and the AMG Drive Unit, a rotary knob on the steering wheel that allows for quick adjustments of the suspension, drive modes and exhaust. The 63 S has seven drive modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Individual, RACE, Trail, and Sand. Options on the new AMG GLE 53 include a third-row seat, AMG performance exhaust, the AMG Drive Unit knob, carbon-fiber interior trim, and a blacked-out Night Package. Notable options on the AMG GLE 63 S include high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes and a carbon-fiber engine cover. The
AMG GLE 53 Coupe ($76,500) is priced a bit higher than the AMG GLE 53 SUV. While this 429-horsepower 5-seater is equipped similarly, it does have 21-inch AMG alloy wheels. Options on the AMG GLE 53 Coupe include 4-zone climate control, a head-up display, a surround-view camera, a Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound audio system, and augmented video instructions for the standard navigation system. At the top of the 2021 Mercedes GLW lineup is the
AMG GLE 63 S Coupe ($116,000). Powered by 603-horsepower twin-turbo V8, this GLE flagship has air suspension, active anti-roll bars, active engine mounts, and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Like the AMG GLE 63 SUV, the AMG 63 S Coupe can be ordered with carbon-ceramic brakes. Both GLE Coupes arrive late in 2020 as 2021 models.
