What's New in the 2022 Volkswagen CC?
Trim levels have been whittled down to just two, with equipment being redistributed in some cases or discontinued in others. The manual transmission is no more. The V6 engine and optional all-wheel-drive system have also bitten the dust. The Sport trim has some minor interior upgrades and the R-Line Executive version receives some advanced safety features as standard. See the 2017 Volkswagen CC models for sale near you
Which CC is the Best?
The CC must be coming to the end of its life soon, or at least the end of this generation. VW is concentrating on crossovers, and most car buyers probably are as well. So this could be the right time to drive a hard bargain. Go for the R-Line Executive to enjoy those extra safety features. Find a Volkswagen CC for sale
How Much Does a 2022 Volkswagen CC Cost?
The 2017 Volkswagen CC is offered in Sport and R-Line Executive trim levels.
Standard equipment in the Sport ($35,340) includes 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry/ignition, bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, fog lights, a trip computer, a dash-mounted analog clock, heated 12-way power front seats, leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, heated washer nozzles for the windshield, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a rearview camera, cruise control, navigation, a 6.3-in touchscreen and an 8-speaker audio system with iPod/Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, HD Radio, an auxiliary input, a USB port, an SD card reader and 6-CD changer. The infotainment system can accommodate Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.
The R-Line Executive ($38,685) is essentially a sportier Sport, adding 18-in alloys, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a bespoke body kit, a powered panoramic sunroof, memory functions for the driver's seat and side mirrors, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, lane-departure warning and leather seating surfaces.
Ventilated/heated front seats and a Home Link garage door opener are available as part of the R-Line Executive's optional Carbon package, which also (unsurprisingly) comes with carbon-fiber interior accents.
Trunk capacity is 13.2 cu ft., below average for a midsize sedan. However, the rear seats can split and fold, and behind the rear central armrest is a pass-through hatch.
