The 2024 Audi Q5 attracts luxury buyers looking for a sophisticated and technically advanced SUV with a performance edge. With accommodation for five, the compact Q5 and its siblings, the Q5 Sportback and SQ5, provide easy maneuverability essential in ever more confining urban settings.
Audi offers buyers a range of powertrains and options scattered across three trim lines: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The Q5 SUV offers two 2.0-liter engines and an optional plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The Q5 Sportback models have a high-output 2.0-liter engine, while the SQ5 gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine.

The Premium trim satisfies essential luxury requirements while giving customers the lowest price of entry into the Audi Q5 ownership.
Audi offers the Premium with a choice of three powertrains. The Q5 40 uses a 201-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive.
The Q5 45 S line 45 uses the same engine but tweaked to produce 261 hp, while the Q5 55 combines the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor for a combined 362 hp.
The Sportback model mirrors the SUV but with a tapered rear end that sacrifices some interior cargo space in favor of a sportier appearance.
With a nod to safer driving, the Q5 features several vital driver aids, including adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, forward collision warning, low-speed automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic detection, and automatic high-beam headlights.
Also standard are active lane-keeping assist, front and rear parking sensors, and Audi’s Pre Sense Basic, which can detect when a collision is inevitable and prepare the cabin by tightening the seatbelts and closing the windows and sunroof.
