For sale right now on AutoTrader is a customized 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS500 that was used in the Yung Joc music video 'Coffee Shop'.
When the song came out in 2007, it reached the number 78 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The rapper flaunts the orange Benz throughout the video and the car shows up in multiple shots.
Of course, any featured ride in a Yung Joc video has to be unique, so no normal CLS would do. The car has been customized to stand out from just about everything else on the road.
The most obvious change from the factory is the car's bright orange paint. The orange is continued on the inside with orange accents that the current owner says was installed by Mercedes itself.
The car is currently being sold by 7 Stars Auto Sales in South Carolina. The owner, Ashraf Quazah, said he bought the car for himself a little while back and is now selling it through the dealership.
The Mercedes rolls on a set of Asanti wheels that Quazah said are so pricy, he maintains a multi-thousand dollar insurance policy on them.
The standard Mercedes bumper has been replaced with a Brabus piece, to give the car a slightly more aggressive look. Speaking of aggressive, the young rapper had the car fitted with a set of Lamborghini-style scissor doors that make the car really stand out.
Yung Joc makes a name for himself showing off all his money, and all that bling doesn't come cheap. "I talked to Yung Joc, and it was at least $25,000 [invested in the car]," Quazah said.
Of course, under all that glowing bodywork, the Benz has muscle to back up its looks. The CLS500 comes with a 302 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine.
The dealership is asking $34,995 for the Mercedes, which is comparable to the estimated KBB value for an unmodified CLS500.
