In one of the most anticipated reveals of the Detroit Auto Show, Chevy finally unveiled the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. This redesigned Z06 is racing toward supercar status with a track-proven design, advanced tech and world-class performance.
Engine & Power
Under the hood is a supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V8 that will bring at least 625 horsepower. There’s also a 7-speed manual transmission. And for those who don’t want to commit to a stick, the Z06 is also available in a high-performance 8-speed automatic with track-certified paddle shifting, so you can have it both ways.
Styling & Tech
The flared fenders, bold spoiler, enlarged vents and air blades make it pretty obvious this car means business. And the new removable carbon-fiber roof panel only adds to its allure. The Z06’s sculpted body and low profile give it an unprecedented level of aerodynamic down force. Keeping the body close to the road means safe, sporty handling and better performance.
The Z06 receives a racing-inspired cockpit and a steering wheel that puts you in control. Even though this is Chevy’s performance model, the interior still has a nice look and feel with plenty of soft-touch surfaces.
For track enthusiasts, the Z06 is now offered with a Performance Data Recorder. The PDR logs real-time performance data you can later watch, analyze and share with friends.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06’s sleek styling and supercharged engine make it a very appealing option … if you can afford it.
