2016 Chevrolet Volt: Detroit Auto Show – Video

After several teaser images and lots of rumors, the 2016 Chevrolet Volt has finally been revealed at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. It’s a lot more efficient than last year’s model and dramatically lighter in weight, leading to better fuel economy and a longer all-electric range.

In addition to its improved range, the Volt also boasts a 102 miles-per-gallon-equivalent (mgpe) rating, the Environmental Protection Agency’s fuel economy rating system for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. But changes don’t stop with better gas mileage and a better battery life: The latest Volt touts improved practicality by going from a 4-seater to a 5-seater while also offering a revised cabin and more modern exterior styling.

All told, the 2016 Chevrolet Volt boasts some key improvements over the outgoing model, and we’re excited to see it reach dealers during the second half of 2015.
