If you’re searching for impressive gas mileage and high fuel economy, you might think that you have to spend an arm and a leg to buy it. But our list of green car deals proves that isn’t the case. We’ve rounded up a series of today’s top incentives and special offers on a wide range of our favorite fuel-efficient new vehicles.
The BMW i3 is a plug-in electric car that offers an optional range-extending gasoline engine. This month, the 2015 i3 offers some excellent incentives for qualified shoppers interested in buying a cutting-edge electric vehicle. One deal is for qualified shoppers looking to finance, as BMW is offering 2.99 percent interest for up to 36 months. This is a better offer than what you can get with other BMW models. Lease shoppers can get an even better deal this month, because the 2015 i3 is available with payments from $239 per month for 24 months after $4,000 down with signing. If you’d rather have the model with the range extender, that figure climbs slightly to $279 per month with the same down payment.
Ford Fusion Hybrid
The Ford Fusion Hybrid is a fuel-efficient midsize sedan that combines the Fusion’s excellent driving experience and well-built interior with compact-car gas mileage. In February, the 2015 Fusion Hybrid offers several incentives designed to entice shoppers looking for a fuel-sipping midsize sedan. The best deal is for qualified drivers looking to finance, as Ford is offering 0 percent interest for up to 60 months, or 1.9 percent for 72 months. Cash buyers can also get a good deal, as Ford is touting up to $2,000 cash back on all Fusion models, whether gas or hybrid, through the end of the month.
As always, the Nissan Leaf makes our list of this month’s top deals on green cars, since its manufacturer incentive is simply too good to pass up. The deal we’re talking about is a lease incentive, which offers the 2015 Leaf to car shoppers for 36 months with payments from just $199 per month after $2,399 down at lease signing. But the deals don’t stop there. Nissan is also offering the Leaf to qualified drivers interested in financing for 72 months with 0 percent interest. Drivers looking to pay in full can get up to $3,000 cash back from Nissan, and that’s before any federal income tax savings from buying an electric vehicle.
Toyota Camry Hybrid
The recently updated Toyota Camry Hybrid adds an improved interior and modernized styling to its already appealing list of traits, which includes excellent gas mileage, a roomy cabin and a comfortable ride. In February, the 2015 Camry Hybrid is also a great deal thanks to a low-interest finance incentive from Toyota. Through the end of the month, that deal offers 0 percent interest for up to 60 months on all 2015 Camry Hybrid models. Not bad for a gas-sipping car with a newly redesigned exterior.
Volkswagen Jetta TDI
If you’re looking for a compact car with affordable pricing and a strong emphasis on fuel economy, you might want to put the diesel-powered Volkswagen Jetta TDI near the top of your shopping list. Capable of more than 30 miles per gallon in the city and 40 mpg on the highway, the 2015 Jetta TDI is offered with several excellent deals in February. The best offer is for qualified shoppers looking to finance, as Volkswagen is touting 0.9 percent interest for up to 60 months on all Jetta TDI models. Volkswagen also has a good deal available for drivers looking to lease: a 36-month term with payments from $219 per month after $1,999 down at lease signing.
