What you see above is possibly the most radical new Ford F-150 pickup for sale today. It’s lifted, it’s a rare F-150 Tonka special-edition model, and it makes 700 horsepower. Oh yeah, and one other thing — it’s available for $110,000.
Behold, the most expensive Ford F-150 on Autotrader: this brand-new 2016 SuperCrew model offered by Tim Ford’s North Georgia Ford in Blue Ridge, Georgia, about 2 hours north of Atlanta. And this isn’t just the most expensive F-150 because it has some desirable options, or it’s the top-of-the-line trim level. Oh, no: It goes well beyond that. We’ll start with the engine. Although this F-150 features Ford’s normal 5.0-liter V8, which makes a respectable 385 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque, that apparently wasn’t quite enough to go with the lift kit and the yellow paint. And so, in went a Shelby supercharger that boosted things to 700 hp — Hellcat territory, in a pickup truck.
Moving on from the raucous engine, you have the paint. This F-150 is finished in Tonka Yellow and emblazoned with a series of Tonka badges and cosmetic interior and exterior modifications, all thanks to a collaboration between Ford and Tuscany Motor Company, which controls the Tonka brand. The result: This thing actually looks like a Tonka truck. Except it goes like a sports car.
So what you have here is the ultimate F-150, for drivers who want to stand out. Not only is your truck lifted 6 inches, it’s also painted bright yellow, covered in Tonka badges and adorned with unique hood, door and wheel treatments beyond a standard F-150. And if that wasn’t enough, you have 700 hp under the hood.
It really is the ultimate standout F-150. Accordingly, it has an ultimate standout price: $110,000, about $65,000 more than a base-level F-150 SuperCrew Lariat. Worth it? We suspect there’s at least one driver out there who will say yes. Eventually. Find a 2016 Ford F-150 for sale
