Over the last few months here on Oversteer, I've covered some strangely colored exotic cars -- but this one might take the cake. It's a 2014 Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan, largely similar to every other 2014 Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan, except this one is pink. Bright freakin' pink.

Actually, the pink isn't that bright -- it's not a bubble gum pink shade, which would make this car look especially ridiculous. But it's certainly pink -- and that's certainly a very, very unusual color for a luxury car that costs something like $200,000 or more. Right now, this Ghost is for sale at Eurocar in Costa Mesa, California, with 27,830 miles and an asking price of $179,888.

So what's the story with this car? The Carfax report shows it to be a one-owner example, registered in Newport Beach, California, and driven quite a lot -- 27,830 miles is a high figure for a three-year-old Rolls-Royce, as most people use their Rolls-Royce models as second or third vehicles. But this one was a daily driver -- and it must've been quite a sight around Newport Beach.

As for the color, it almost certainly isn't an after-the-fact repaint. Rolls-Royce famously creates custom colors for its buyers -- at a certain price, of course -- and this is likely the result of that: a unique, one-off color that will (probably) never be duplicated again. The question, of course, is what effect this color has on the car in the used market, as it'll likely take a lot longer to sell than a Ghost painted in black, silver, white or gray.

Or, perhaps, it won't: Surely, there must be another buyer out there somewhere, interested in driving around in a Rolls-Royce Ghost that stands out quite a bit more than every other Rolls-Royce Ghost.
