If you’re looking for an old-school Volvo, you probably know how challenging it is to find a nice one, as many of them were used for all sorts of activities throughout the 1990s and 2000s, with little attention paid to preserving them. But this 1992 Volvo 240 is indeed preserved, and it’s for sale on Autotrader.
What you have here is a 1992 Volvo 240, finished in silver with a gray interior, and it really is nice: It’s a pristine example of the sedan with just under 71,000 miles from new. According to the Carfax report, this car was sold new in Connecticut but moved to Florida, likely with a retiring owner, in 2007. By then, it had just 51,000 miles on the odometer, and things have increased slowly since then.
And, indeed, the previous owner kept this car in fantastic condition. Although just three photos are shown, all three do a good job of illustrating the excellent condition of this car, with a well-kept exterior and a shockingly nice interior. It’s really in great shape — and the ad notes that lots of recent maintenance has been done, further suggesting it’s been well kept.
If you’re interested, this 240 is offered by a private seller in Naples, Florida, where it’s offered for $10,500 — big money for an old Volvo, but you’re unlikely to find another like this. Find a Volvo 240 for sale
