When considering a vehicle to put your family in, safety and space are very important. The 3-row 2018 Mazda CX-9 could be a great fit, and here are some stats on the CX-9.
Mazda designed the interior with the driver in mind. The CX-9 seats 7 passengers, which is a good option instead of having to take two cars. There are premium features offered like Nappa leather, genuine rosewood on the center console and a beautiful sunroof. The list continues with touches like retractable sunshades, the upgraded 12-speaker Bose sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and tri-zone climate control.
The CX-9 has a sole engine, and it’s a good one. The 2.5-liter 250-hp 4-cylinder provides ample power for passing and merging. For those who desire all-wheel drive, it is available. The best part of this engine, though, isn’t the power or efficiency; it’s the driving experience, especially through turns.
Mazda has added 53 pounds of sound-deadening material to keep this cabin quiet. We have to say it does provide a stress-free driving experience. Even when pushing the CX-9’s 2.5-liter 4-cylinder, it still remains fairly quiet.
You won’t find many 3-row crossovers that are as sharp as the CX-9. LEDs are standard, and the top Signature trim level receives stylish 20-in wheels, roof rails and dual exhaust outlets. Even the Touring trim level has 18-in wheels and heated mirrors.
Apple Carplay/ Android Auto
One downside to the CX-9 is that this system is not equipped with Apple Carplay or Android Auto. If you are an iPhone or Android smartphone user, you may find this disappointing, as these are great systems to use if you need to stay connected with your phone while driving.
If you’re shopping for a family vehicle, a practical and stale choice isn’t your only option. Consider the fun-to-drive 3-row 2018 Mazda CX-9. It could certainly be worth your time.
