How Much Does a 2022 Ford Expedition Cost?
The 2021 Ford Expedition comes in regular (Expedition) and extended (Expedition Max) wheelbases, and in five trim levels.
Adding all-wheel drive varies in price from model to model, but it’s optional with all Expeditions. Expect to pay around $3,000. All vehicle prices include a $1,695 destination charge.
XL ($50,720/$53,720) comes standard with seating for five, plus 18-in alloy wheels, capless fuel filler, running boards, roof rack, single-zone manual climate control, cloth upholstery, 15 cup holders, leather-wrapped steering wheel, programmable Ford MyKey, remote start/lock/unlock, vehicle location, hill-start assist, trailer sway control,
Sync voice command system, 4.2-in infotainment screen, Bluetooth, four USB ports, wi-fi (for up to 10 devices), AM/FM radio, 6-speaker audio system, and the Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver aids (see Safety section below). An STX package for XL trim brings tri-zone automatic climate control,
Sync 3 infotainment system
with an 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Power-folding/reclining third-row seats (bringing the occupant count up to eight), rear parking sensors and satellite radio are also available.
XLT ($54,505/$56,505) has all those extras as standard, and adds a self-dimming rearview mirror and heated side mirrors. This trim is eligible for heated/ventilated/power-adjustable front seats (10-way for the driver, 8-way for the passenger), simulated leather upholstery, keyless entry/ignition, heated/power-adjustable steering wheel, powered lift gate, 110-volt outlet, wireless charging,
adaptive cruise control with stop/go, navigation, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Limited ($63,270/$65,270) comes standard with those XLT options, along with LED taillights, hands-free lift gate operation, power-retractable running boards, power-folding side mirrors (self-dimming on the driver’s side), rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, power-adjustable pedals, memory settings, leather-covered front seats, ambient cabin lighting, HD radio, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. The XLT and Limited trims are both eligible for FX4 Off-Road packages that bring all-terrain tires, specialized off-road suspension, underbody protection, 360-degree camera system (with front camera washer) and a 2-speed all-wheel drive system with an electronic locking limited-slip differential. Limited trim can also be ordered with 22-in alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, full exterior LED lighting, and parallel/perpendicular parking assistance. These are standard in the King Ranch trim.
King Ranch ($74,430/$76,430) also has special exterior accents, Mesa/Ebony interior with upgraded leather upholstery, power-folding/tip/slide second-row captain’s chairs (reducing seating capacity to seven), and the 360-degree camera system. Limited and King Ranch trims are eligible for an adaptive suspension.
Platinum ($75,470/$77,470) has that adaptive suspension as standard, plus a 400-hp V6, massaging/multi-contour front seats, extended leather trim, active noise control, and inflatable second-row seat belts. All 2021 Expedition trim levels are eligible for a Heavy Duty Trailer Tow package. And a dual-screen second-row entertainment system becomes optional at the XLT level.
