A few changes enrich the 2023 Infiniti QX50 as it rolls into showrooms. First, every new 2023 QX50 benefits from a 3-year/30,000-mile complimentary scheduled maintenance program. Second, the standard feature list of all grades now includes a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, a wireless phone charger, heated outboard mirrors, and remote engine start. Third, the new Sport trim replaces the last year’s Essential grade.
With the introduction of the Sport trim level, the grade lineup for 2023 begins with Pure, moving up through Luxe, Sport, and Sensory to the top-end Autograph.
Autograph comes with all-wheel drive (AWD). However, you can add AWD across the rest of the QX60 stable for $2,000. Otherwise, the lower trims are front-wheel drive (FWD).
Regardless of the trim level, a 268-horsepower 2.0-liter variable-compression (VC) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine supplies the go. VC technology provides high-compression efficiency for cruising. This powertrain is a fuel saver. Then it seamlessly switches to a low-compression setup ready for increased turbo boost and brisk acceleration.
A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that uses steel belts rather than gears (another fuel saver) hustles engine torque to the wheels. Paddle shifters are standard.
Swimming in waters populated by the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Acura RDX, the Infiniti QX50 holds its own. Despite being the smallest of the Infiniti SUVs, this compact 5-passenger crossover has a relatively large cabin.
We also appreciate its healthy standard-features list of safety and driver-aid technologies. Among them is the semi-autonomous ProPilot Assist. It can steer, accelerate, and brake the vehicle in certain conditions. We also like the QX50’s highly stylized exterior.
Let’s see how the Infiniti QX50 trim levels shake out for 2023.
2023 Infiniti QX50 Pure (starting at $40,300)
Reflecting evidence of the QX50’s status as a premium luxury crossover, the Pure has a wealth of standard equipment. For example, Infiniti includes 8-way power-adjustable front seats, proximity keyless entry with push-button start, and adaptive cruise control.
Other features are LED exterior lights (auto on/off headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights), high-beam assist, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Heated power outboard mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror are standard, too.
A power rear liftgate and dual-zone automatic climate control make life with the QX50 a little easier. Leatherette seating surfaces step up the upholstery level. Second-row passengers can recline the SUV’s 60/40-split-folding seat. Precool or preheat the QX50 with the remote start function.
Two infotainment touchscreens (8-inch and 7-inch) oversee an infotainment system that also features a 6-speaker audio system and Bluetooth with voice recognition. Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, satellite-radio capability, six USB ports, and hands-free texting round out the features.
Spearheading the safety and driver-aid technologies are forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring. Also helping to keep you and yours safe are rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking and lane-departure warning. Lane-keeping assist, rear-park assist, and ProPilot Assist are standard, too.
Infiniti doesn’t offer any factory-installed options for the Pure.
Adding the $1,195 destination fee to the Pure base price brings the total to $41,495. With no money down, financing for 60 months at 3% interest works out to about $746 per month. See 2023 Infiniti QX50 Pure models for sale
2023 Infiniti QX50 Pure includes:
Adaptive cruise control – Once you have engaged the system and set the speed, it will maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, braking and accelerating as needed.
Proximity keyless entry – If the key fob is on your person, the doors automatically unlock when you approach. Push-button start pairs with proximity keyless entry.
ProPilot Assist – This semi-autonomous driver-assistance technology can steer, accelerate, and brake the QX50 in certain controlled situations.
2023 Infiniti QX50 Luxe (starting at $43,600)
Building on the Pure, Luxe boosts the convenience quotient with several upgrades. For instance, heated front seats and perforated leather seating have become standard. The driver’s seat also gets a memory feature that includes the outboard mirrors.
A panoramic moonroof, a hands-free power rear liftgate, and power-folding outboard mirrors add to the mix. A HomeLink transceiver, allowing you to control your garage doors and some house lights, also is standard.
For an extra $900, you may opt for a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Adding the destination fee to the Luxe base price equals $44,795. Financing for 60 months at 3% interest with no money down works out to a monthly payment of about $805. See 2023 Infiniti QX50 Luxe models for sale
2023 Infiniti QX50 Luxe includes:
Panoramic moonroof – This elongated moonroof stretches over both seating rows, providing plenty of sunlight.
Hands-free power liftgate – With the key fob on your person, stick your foot under the rear bumper, and the liftgate automatically opens.
Heated seats – These front seats take the chill out of frigid mornings.
2023 Infiniti QX50 Sport (starting at $48,500)
Infiniti adds 10 blacked-out elements to the Sport exterior. For example, the 20-inch alloy wheels, front fascia, grille surround, fender accents, and so forth are all blacked out.
Beyond the appearance changes, Sport adds several other upgrades like LED fog lights, semi-aniline leather seating, and the 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Other Sport features are front-park assist, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and outboard mirrors with integrated turn signals. Rain-sensing wipers and navigation also come standard.
Infiniti doesn’t offer any factory-installed options in the QX50 Sport or the upper trim levels.
Adding the destination fee to the Sport base price totals $49,695. At 3% interest, financing for 60 months with no money down works out to a monthly payment of about $893. See 2023 Infiniti QX50 Sport models for sale
2023 Infiniti QX50 Sport includes:
Rain-sensing wipers – When the system senses moisture on the windshield, it automatically engages the wipers. The wiper speed adjusts according to the volume of the rain.
Fog lights – Mounted lower than the headlights, these lights aim downward to illuminate beneath the fog layer. These LED fog lights reach a broader and longer area than halogen lamps.
Mirrors with integrated turn signals – These are power outboard mirrors with turn-signal repeaters installed on their outer shell. They are heated and power-folding, too.
2023 Infiniti QX50 Sensory (starting at $52,800)
Although the QX50 Sensory loses many of Sport’s appearance elements, it retains all its essential features. It also adds adaptive front lighting, a head-up display, and a power-adjustable steering wheel with driver memory.
Also included are heated rear seats and a 16-speaker Bose audio system.
Adding the $1,195 destination fee to the Sensory base price brings the total to $53,995. At 3% interest, financing for 60 months with no money down works out to a payment of about $970 per month. See 2023 Infiniti QX50 Sensory models for sale

Adaptive front lights – These headlights turn in concert with the front wheels, lighting the way through curves.
2023 Infiniti QX50 Autograph (starting at $57,350)
Enriching the Sensory feature lineup, the Autograph reigns as the most luxurious QX50 trim. Its list of added features kicks off with AWD. It dials up the pampering with perforated and quilted semi-aniline leather seating, tri-zone automatic climate control, and an Ultrasuede headliner.
Infiniti also arms the Autograph with a tow hitch receiver, an oil cooler, and a larger fan to support its 3,000-pound towing capacity.
Adding the destination fee to the Autograph base price totals $58,545. With our financing scenario, the monthly payment works out to about $1,052. See 2023 Infiniti QX50 Autograph models for sale
2023 Infiniti QX50 Autograph includes:
Tri-zone automatic climate control – Separating the vehicle into three areas (front right, front left, and rear), this system lets folks in the QX50 set the temperatures in each.
AWD – A transparent system, it sends engine torque to all the wheels when the primary drive wheels lose grip. Engineered for foul weather, the QX50’s AWD shouldn’t be expected to tackle any terrain rougher than packed dirt or gravel.
Tow package – Providing a 3,000-pound towing capacity, this tow group includes a hitch receiver, an oil cooler, and a larger cooling fan.
