Chevrolet draws back the curtain on the Tru 140S concept car at the Detroit Auto Show. Aimed at the 30-and-under buyer market, the Tru 140S combines the sportiness of a turbocharger with the efficiency of GM's eAssist technology. If it goes into production, Chevy estimates it would be capable of 40 mpg on the highway.
As a two-door, four seater, the Tru 140S combines a sleek aerodynamic design with a tried-and-true front-wheel drive layout. The Tru 140S is designed to look confident, exotic, expensive and fast. The Tru 140S is based off the Chevrolet Cruze platform and the infamous Chevrolet Volt.
