Autotrader Find: 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited With 1,840 Miles

If you’re looking for a special Jeep, this is precisely that. For one thing, this is an "LJ" Jeep Wrangler — the long version of the TJ model, which was sold only from 2004 to 2006 in low numbers. It’s a better Wrangler model for families without the extra sizing of the newer Wrangler Unlimited models with four doors.

But more exciting than that, this Wrangler LJ has traveled just 1,840 miles from new, which means it’s likely one of the most pristine models left in existence. It’s also a 4-wheel drive model, which makes it even more desirable. It truly is one of the nicest TJ models left. If you’ve never seen one in factory original condition, you’ll want to check out this listing.

So how does a vehicle like this end up with only 1,840 miles? According to the Carfax report, it’s a one-owner vehicle that was sold new in Texas in 2004. Unfortunately, there have only been a few mileage reports on Carfax over the years, so we can only see that it had 84 miles in September 2004 and 1,788 miles in July 2017. Still, it was clearly driven only sparingly during this time.

If you’re interested, this LJ is offered by Collins Brothers Jeep in Texas for $29,800 — huge money for a used Wrangler, of course, but reasonable given the mileage and the desirability of LJ models. Find a Jeep Wrangler for sale
