Right here, right now, I present to you one of the single strangest vehicles I’ve ever found for sale on Autotrader. A bright-pink Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stretch limousine. In Minnesota.
I don’t even know where to begin.
Let’s start with the basics. This bright-pink Jeep Grand Cherokee stretch limo is currently for sale for $41,995 at DJ’s Auto Sales in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, which is north of Minneapolis. I mention the dealer’s location specifically because, well, it’s cold up there, north of Minneapolis. It snows a lot. This is not the kind of climate where I’d want to own a stretch limo. And yet… here we are. See the Jeep Grand Cherokee models for sale near you
The first thing you’ll notice when you see this pink Grand Cherokee stretch limo is that it’s, well, longer than a normal Grand Cherokee. And indeed, that’s because it’s a stretch limo based on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is unusual in the world of stretch limos, which are usually fashioned from some sort of prestigious luxury car, like a Lincoln or a Cadillac, and not from a midsize family SUV. But I digress.
Then we move over to the next striking thing about this vehicle: It’s bright pink. And it isn’t just that it’s painted bright pink. The wheels are bright pink, the seats are bright pink, and an enormous amount of the interior trim is bright pink. Combine that with the extra length, and you have here, quite simply, the pinkest Jeep Grand Cherokee of all time.
Another bizarre thing: Despite all the modifications made to this Grand Cherokee, whoever performed the stretch left the cargo area completely intact. No pink, no updates, no changes. So you still have a standard lift gate back there, as well as a black carpet, as if it’s just the rear end of a regular ol’ Grand Cherokee and not the pinkest Jeep Grand Cherokee of all time.
If you’re interested — and how couldn’t you be? — I’m happy to report this Grand Cherokee has a clean Carfax report and Chrysler’s excellent 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 under the hood. Also, the pink Grand Cherokee has only been in Minnesota for 3 years. Before that, it was in Englishtown, New Jersey, with an owner who undoubtedly has absolutely no idea that it’s currently 47 feet long and pink. Find a Jeep Grand Cherokee for sale
