Autotrader Find: Porsche 918 Spyder With Martini Livery

There are always a few Porsche 918 Spyder models for sale on Autotrader — but usually none quite like this. What you see here is a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder decked out in Martini racing livery, just like the famous race cars of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Martini livery, which was an option on the 918 Spyder, makes the 918 look less like a crazy supercar — which, of course, it is — and more like a race car, which it’s easy to believe it might be, given its design. The color scheme recalls the old days of Porsche LeMans racing, when Martini sponsored the brand’s cars and this livery became tremendously well-known.

Of course, if you’re interested in the Martini-colored 918 Spyder, it isn’t cheap. Despite an MSRP that was probably only a bit north of $1 million just three years ago, the supercar is currently listed by Champion Porsche near Fort Lauderdale for $2.2 million — a figure that reflects the car’s rarity, its desirability, and its mileage: This 918 Spyder has traveled just 865 miles since new. The Carfax report shows it was sold new in Florida on December 31, 2014, and virtually never driven. With that said, if the car sells for anywhere near the MSRP, it will have proved to be a good investment — even if didn’t provide much on-road enjoyment. Find a Porsche 918 Spyder for sale
