If you’re like most car enthusiasts, you probably watched the whole "Fisker Karma" saga unfold with eager interest: Weird car. Cool looks. Bizarre interior. And, eventually, bankrupt company. Well, now the Karma is back, with "Karma" as the brand name and "Revero" as the model. And this is the first used Karma Revero currently listed for sale on Autotrader.
If you’re not familiar with the Revero, here’s the basic gist: after Fisker went out of business, a Chinese company bought the tooling for the Karma and moved production to Southern California (from Finland, where the Fisker Karma was built). The company changed the brand name from Fisker to Karma, presumably because they didn’t buy the Fisker brand name, and named the car "Revero." The new Karma Revero uses the same powertrain as the Fisker Karma, a 2.0-liter turbocharged General Motors 4-cylinder with a plug-in hybrid component for a total power output of 403 horsepower.
The Karma Revero is officially on sale, and there are several brand-new examples currently for sale on Autotrader. This is the first used example, however, and it’s offered by Findlay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Findlay, Ohio, with a mere 118 miles on the odometer — meaning it hardly qualifies as "used." But, that’s how the dealer has it for sale on Autotrader, even though the Carfax report seems to suggest it hasn’t been titled.
Regardless of the precise situation, this Karma Revero is listed for $92,500, which is a discount from the low 6-figure base price, and it’s finished in white with a beige interior. Technology is a clear improvement from the original Fisker Karma, as it uses a different (and more modern) center screen and gauge cluster than the original model. And now, the latest iteration of this car can be yours.
