Land Rover’s smallest SUV is also one of its most attractive. For those who don’t need the full-size capabilities of the Land Rover Range Rover models, the Evoque is the perfect compromise. It offers many of Land Rover’s most desirable luxury features in an SUV perfectly sized for the urban landscape.
Make no mistake, the Evoque is still a Land Rover, meaning it can tackle challenging off-road situations if asked. We suspect snow and the occasional dirt road are all most Evoques will encounter, but it’s nice to know the hardware is there if you need it.
New this year is the P300 HST with a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine making 296 horsepower. Inspired by the Range Rover Sport HST, this mini-version in Evoque form includes a host of standard luxury features and a 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrain.
All other Evoques are designated P250, meaning they employ a 246-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup. Find a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque for sale
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque S (Starting at $43,775)
The least expensive trim is the Evoque S.
The standard equipment list begins with the basics one expects in a $40,000 SUV. Power windows, leather seating, cruise control, and tilt/telescoping steering wheel are all part of the S package, as is a 120-watt, 6-speaker audio system and 18-inch alloy wheels.
New standard features for 2022 include heated front seats, keyless entry, power tailgate, and wireless smartphone charging with signal booster. These options would have added nearly $1,800 to the 2021 Evoque, but this year the total increase comes to just $475.
Accompanying the Evoque’s standard all-wheel drive is Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 system that allows the driver to select from various modes based on the terrain. Choices include Rock Crawl, General Driving, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Grass, Gravel, Snow. Electronic traction control, stability control, and hill descent control also make the cut.
Looking to the exterior, the Evoque S employs LED headlights and taillights, plus rear foglights, power-folding heated side mirrors with auto-dimming driver’s mirror, and rain-sensing wipers. A body-colored roof, automatic headlights, rear wiper washer, rear spoiler, and deployable flush door handles round out the Evoque’s noteworthy items.
Standard driver assists include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, a driver monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear backup camera. Additional systems such as blind-spot monitoring are available as part of an extra-cost package.
Inside the Evoque’s cabin are heated 12-way power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic two-zone climate control with solar and mist sensing. The rear-seat area includes air vents and a 40/20/40 split-folding seatback providing easy access to the cargo area.
Basic infotainment features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, SiriusXM, Bluetooth streaming, and Land Rover’s InControl Remote app. A 10-inch touchscreen allows easy control of all media, as well as the standard navigation system. Controls for the climate, heated seats, and rear defrost are handled via a set of analog dials and buttons, which some may prefer to the optional and more complicated touchscreen setup on the Touch Pro Duo.
Rather than forcing buyers into a more expensive trim just to get one or two features they really want, Land Rover offers the Evoque S with numerous options.
Available packages include a Blind Spot Assist Pack that adds blind-spot monitor, clear exit monitor, and rear traffic monitor. The Driver Assist Pack includes all these features plus adaptive cruise control.
The Dynamic Handling Pack brings an adaptive suspension and red brake calipers. At the same time, the Convenience Pack includes a power-adjustable steering column, the Activity Key wristband (which acts like a key fob you can wear), and a power gesture rear liftgate.
The Technology Pack adds a camera-operated rearview mirror, head-up display, the dual touchscreen Touch Pro Duo, and an interactive driver display. The Cold Climate Pack brings heating elements for the washer nozzles, windshield, steering wheel, and headlight power washers.
Other options include driver’s memory (driver’s seat, mirrors, and steering wheel), heated rear seats, auto high-beam headlights, two upgraded Meridian sound systems, configurable ambient lighting, upgraded interior upholstery and materials, plus fixed or sliding panoramic roof options.
In addition to numerous paint colors and visual package upgrades, Land Rover also offers eight optional wheel choices ranging from 18- to 21-inches.
With the $1,050 destination fee, the 2022 Range Rover Evoque S costs $44,825. Assuming a zero down payment, a 60-month loan at 3% produces a monthly payment of $805. Find a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque S for sale

- Wireless charge pad – Allows wireless charging of compatible smartphones or devices.
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SE ($48,475)
A move up the SE trim brings more standard features, many of which are optional on the S trim. Going with the SE is just an easier way of getting them, but this trim does open the door to a few options not offered on the S, such as 14-way heated and cooled seats.
The SE offers a more visually appealing exterior, with 20-inch alloy wheels, advanced LED headlights with signature daytime running lights, automatic high beams, and automatic headlight leveling.
Inside, the Touch Pro Duo with dual 10-inch screens applies the same touchscreen technology to the ventilation controls. The lower screen can also double as the infotainment screen when the upper unit is running navigation. An interactive driver display, driver’s seat memory, and the S trim’s Blind Spot Assist Pack are also standard.
Options beyond the S trim’s offerings include numerous perforated Windsor leather seat choices and an extended leather upgrade.
With destination, the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SE costs $49,525. With no money down, a 60-month loan at 3% nets a monthly payment of $890, or just $84 more than the base S model. Find a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SE for sale
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SE includes:
- 20-inch alloy wheels – Make the Evoque stand out while functionally helping to improve ride stability and handling.
- Touch Pro Duo – Increases the usability of the infotainment system with a second touchscreen that also operates the climate controls.
- Automatic high-beam headlights – Automatically sense oncoming traffic and dim the high beams. Once the traffic passes and no other vehicles are detected, the high beams revert to the “on” position.
- Clear Exit Monitor – Warns rear-seat passengers of possible danger when exiting the vehicle, such as a vehicle about the pass close to the door.
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic S ($45,375)
The R-Dynamic S elevates the Evoque with a more sporting appearance, although it offers no change in the engine’s output or performance. Standard equipment is the same as for the Evoque S, but the R-Dynamic gains exterior enhancements such as gloss-black hood vents, red brake calipers, lower bumper air intakes, and burnished copper accents.
Interior upgrades include perforated leather steering wheel, black headliner, silver pedals, and satin-chrome paddle shifters.
With destination, the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic S costs $46,425. With no money down, a 60-month loan at 3% financing yields an $834 monthly payment. Find a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic S for sale
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic SE ($50,075)
Like the R-Dynamic S, the SE version builds off the Evoque SE but with R-Dynamic styling upgrades.
With the $1,050 destination fee, the Evoque R-Dynamic SE comes to $51,125. On a zero-down loan at 3% for 60 months, the monthly bill comes to $919, just $85 more than the R-Dynamic S. Find a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic SE for sale
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque HST ($53,900)
If you’re looking for a performance upgrade to match the R-Dynamic S’s racy good looks, move to the HST trim. It includes a more powerful 294-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, plus more standard features.
The HST includes the Black Exterior Styling Pack that consists of a black grille, black side vents, gloss-black 20-inch wheels, and a sliding panoramic roof. The Premium LED headlight package with auto high beams and auto-leveling is also standard.
Ebony suedecloth covers the ceiling and standard heated steering wheel.
The HST’s infotainment system consists of the dual-screen Touch Pro Duo attached to a 400-watt 12-speaker Meridian sound system. The interactive driver display is also standard.
Oddly, for its top-of-the-line status, the HST’s options list largely mirrors that of the base S trim, meaning things like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitor, and rear traffic monitor are not standard.
Including the $1,050 destination fee, the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque HST comes to $54,950. With no money down on a 60-month loan at 3%, the monthly payment comes to $987. That’s just $68 more each month than the less powerful R-Dynamic SE. Find a 2022 Land Rover Evoque HST for sale
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque HST includes:
- 294-horsepower 2.0-liter engine – More ponies means more speed. The P300 engine includes a mild-hybrid battery pack. The engine shuts off at speeds under 11 mph, and the hybrid system’s regenerative braking captures energy to recharge the battery.
- Meridian Audio – With 400-watts and 12-speakers, the Meridian audio upgrade is a vast improvement over the stock system.
- Heated steering wheel – Another nice feature for those living in cold climates, the heated steering wheel quickly warms the steering wheel rim, negating the need to wear gloves while driving.
- Sliding panoramic roof – Lets copious rays of light into the cabin when closed and an overabundance of fresh air when open.
