• The offer includes the 4-day, unlimited mileage rental of a loaded BMW 328i.
  • The Fall Weekend Special gets 4 days for the price of 3.
  • The offer is available in the New York tri-state area.

The New York tri-state area can enjoy a special offer from BMW On Demand USA, the automaker's rental program, that includes the all-new BMW 3-Series. Ten BMW dealers in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey participate in the program. Through the end of 2012, the Fall Weekend Special gives renters an extra day with the car and unlimited mileage.

BMW On Demand USA lets drivers experience the redesigned, sixth-generation 3-Series in a more comprehensive way than most test drives can allow. Spending a weekend with a fully loaded 328i can give new car shoppers a revealing look at the vehicle in a variety of uses and on a variety of roads. Residents and visitors to the area who are considering buying or leasing a new 3-Series might benefit most from BMW's special offer.

Typically, the weekend rate of $350 is good for a 3-day rental that lasts from noon Friday to 9 a.m. the following Monday morning, and includes up to 350 miles. With the Fall Weekend Special, you can pick up Thursday at 9 a.m. and return at 9 a.m. on Monday, or pick up Friday at 9 a.m. and return Tuesday at 9 a.m. In addition to four days for the price of three, the special also includes unlimited mileage.

For those with less time to spend in the BMW 3-Series, On Demand still offers hourly, daily and nightly rentals.

BMW dealers offering the On Demand USA program are located throughout the Tri-State area. BMW of Manhattan handles the program in the heart of New York City, while BMW of Westchester serves the area around White Plains. In Connecticut, visit BMW of Ridgefield or BMW of Darien to take advantage of the deal. Prestige BMW serves New Jersey, and several Long Island dealers are offering the program too. Visit bmwondemandusa.com to make a reservation.

Even previous BMW owners could benefit from trying the new 3-Series before buying. The newest model departs from its predecessors in some important ways, not the least of which is a new, turbocharged motor. And although the new car is larger, it takes advantage of efficiency technologies, such as start-stop and an 8-speed automatic transmission, to promote higher fuel economy. The 3-Series packs some new high-tech equipment, such as full-color head-up display, and driver assistance features like lane departure warning and collision warning.

Whether you're in the market for a new sports sedan or you just want to enjoy a tour of fall foliage in the latest 3-Series for a few days, BMW On Demand USA's Fall Weekend Special is a smart way to do it.

What it means to you: Take a long weekend and drive the latest BMW 328i as much as you want through the Fall Weekend Special offer from BMW On Demand USA. It might help you make a decision you won't regret.
