It's no secret: Honda is big on small cars, and the all-new 2015 Honda Fit is proof. This smartly-designed subcompact just made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, and it's already generating a lot of buzz.

Engine Info

The refreshed Fit will be quicker than the outgoing model, with a new 1.5-liter direct-injected engine paired with a short-shifting 6-speed or CVT automatic transmission.

Exterior & Interior Styling

Honda didn't reinvent the wheel with the Fit's exterior, but a slightly sportier front end, sharper lines and larger tires give it a more sophisticated look.

The new model is slightly smaller than the 2014 Fit, yet the designers still managed to increase legroom by almost five inches, making for a roomier feel. The Fit's second-row, fold-flat 60/40 Magic Seat will likely give it an edge with shoppers, offering more functionality and cargo space than the competition.

And thanks to noise-reducing design and suspension upgrades, the Fit is expected to be a quiet, more comfortable ride.

Technology & Options

Honda stepped up the tech on the new model. Standard features will include Bluetooth, a USB port and a rear cam with multiple views. You can also opt for the HondaLink infotainment setup.

As for premium perks, you can choose from options such as heated leather seats and advanced safety features such as LaneWatch.

There's no question that Honda has packed a lot into this fun subcompact package. The redesigned 2015 Honda Fit is set to arrive at dealerships in the fall of 2014.
