Autotrader Find: Cheapest Lamborghini Gallardo at $79,500

If you’re looking for a Lamborghini and you don’t want to pay Lamborghini prices for a new one, you’ve probably considered a used Gallardo. Not surprisingly, used Gallardo models are falling in value — and this is the cheapest one currently listed for sale.

This particular Gallardo is a 2004 model, which was the first year of the high-performance coupe. It’s traveled 31,400 miles, which is high for a Lamborghini, though not especially egregious. It’s finished in silver, and it still wears the original 2004 Gallardo wheels, which are becoming rare as people modify them. And it’s offered for $79,500.

If you’re not in the market, $79,500 may seem like a lot for a 15-year-old car — but the Gallardo is a special vehicle whose Lamborghini status, of course, ensures desirability. It also boasts an impressive V10 with about 490 horsepower, and it touts every bit of the Lamborghini ethos and wedge-shaped design, which will endlessly turn heads.

Gallardo pricing has been an interesting thing. For a while, Gallardo models hit a floor at about $100,000 and didn’t seem to go below — but they’ve been slowly creeping down in the last couple of years. This particular example has the automatic "e-gear" transmission, which commands a little less money than the more desirable manual transmission — and that, plus the silver color, plus the mileage, equates to the cheapest Gallardo currently listed for sale on Autotrader.

If you’re interested, this particular Gallardo is offered by a private seller in Tampa, who notes that it has 85% clutch life remaining. Find a Lamborgini Gallardo for sale
