Here Are the Best-Preserved Old-School SUVs for Sale on Autotrader

If you’re interested in getting a pristine old SUV, you probably know how hard they are to find. Unlike sports cars or obviously collectible vehicles, many SUVs from previous years haven’t been kept in the best shape because they were used for their intended purpose. But there are a few nice older SUVs out there, and I’ve rounded up five exceptional examples that are currently listed for sale on Autotrader.

1991 Chevy Blazer

1991 Chevy Blazer – 31,100 Miles

Long before it became a small 4-door model, the Chevy Blazer was a popular full-size SUV designed to compete with the Ford Bronco and Dodge Ramcharger. Very few old Blazer models survive in nice shape, but this one does. It’s a really nice 1991 model with a handsome interior and 4-wheel drive offered by Southworth Chevrolet Buick GMC in Wisconsin, and it’s traveled just 31,000 miles from new. This Blazer is an impressive specimen, and it’s offered for $29,900. Find a Chevrolet Blazer for sale

1982 Dodge Ramcharger

1982 Dodge Ramcharger – 32,300 Miles

The Dodge Ramcharger was Dodge’s competitor to the full-size Chevy Blazer and Ford Bronco, and while it was never quite as popular, it still has an enthusiast following. It’s very difficult to find a Ramcharger in nice shape, but this one is absolutely excellent, as it has traveled just 32,300 miles from new. It’s offered by GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and it’s listed for $22,900. Find a Dodge Ramcharger for sale

1996 Ford Bronco

1996 Ford Bronco – 19,400 Miles

The 1996 model year was the end of the line for the Ford Bronco, which was canceled to make way for the Expedition as 4-door, family-sized SUVs grew in popularity in the mid-1990s. This Bronco hails from that final model year, and its mileage is exceptional — it’s traveled just 19,400 miles from new. This is also a "luxurious" Eddie Bauer Edition model, which means it has leather upholstery. The vehicle is offered for $50,000 by Crave Luxury Auto in the Houston area. Find a Ford Bronco for sale

1993 Jeep Wrangler Renegade

1993 Jeep Wrangler Renegade – 25,500 Miles

The Jeep Wrangler is, of course, a wildly popular SUV, and it’s hard to find older Wrangler models in nice shape, as most of them get modified by off-roaders as they age. But this one is absolutely pristine: a 1993 Wrangler Renegade that’s traveled just 25,500 miles from new — a veritable time capsule for how these things used to be back in the day. This particular Wrangler is offered by Motorcars of the Main Line in the Philadelphia area for $24,950. Find a Jeep Wrangler for sale

1993 Land Rover Defender 110

1993 Land Rover Defender 110 – 38,000 Miles

The Land Rover Defender 110 was officially sold in the U.S. market for just one year, 1993. A mere 535 of them were brought over for sale in North America. This is one of those 535, and it’s in impressively good shape, having traveled just 38,000 miles from new. It’s offered by Adventure Motorcars in Birmingham, Alabama, a specialist in Land Rover Defenders, and it’s listed for $144,999. Sure, that’s big money for an old SUV, but it’s reasonable considering the ever-increasing collectibility and desirability of Defenders. Find a Land Rover Defender for sale
