We had the chance to get up close and personal with the car that made the biggest splash at the 2016 New York Auto Show: the Lincoln Navigator Concept. And oh, what a concept it is. Everything is BIG, from its size to its wheels to its Lincoln badge.
Of course, let’s not forget about those big doors. They’re single-piece gull wing doors that open to reveal both the front and rear seats, and they have windows on top. No word on how they’ll do in a low parking garage, though.
Worried about entry and exit? No problem there, since the Lincoln Navigator Concept doesn’t just have a running board — it has running STAIRS. This has to be a first.
Inside there are six seats, all of which can be adjusted 30 different ways. There’s also a wardrobe in the back, plus giant screens on the seats, gauge cluster, center stack and mirror. This is a concept car, after all.
Want one? Too bad. It’s just a concept. But maybe some of this stuff will make production … we’ll have to wait and see.
