How Much Does a 2022 GMC Terrain Cost?
The GMC 2021 Terrain comes in SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali trim levels. Where it’s applicable, all-wheel drive is an extra $1,600. These figures haven’t changed from last year. Prices include a $1,195 destination charge. The base
SL ($26,195) comes with 17-in wheels, automatic on/off HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, privacy glass, heated mirrors, keyless entry/ignition, active noise cancellation, height-adjustable front seats, 60/40 split/fold/recline back seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth upholstery, OnStar emergency communications, and remote services, 7-in infotainment touchscreen,
Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, four USB ports (including one Type-C port), auxiliary audio input, 6-speaker sound system, and the GMC Pro Safety array of driver assistance features.
SLE ($29,595) is available with either engine and all-wheel drive. It adds a self-dimming rearview mirror, and levers in the cargo area that fold the back seat. That’s not a lot for an extra $2,900, but this trim is eligible for more options than the SL. A Driver Convenience package adds remote start, powered liftgate, roof rails,
dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment. The Infotainment Package I includes an enhanced gauge cluster, 110-volt outlet, 8-in touchscreen, SD card reader, satellite radio, and an additional Type-A USB port.
SLT trim ($32,395) receives the contents of the Infotainment Package I and Driver Convenience packages, then adds 18-in alloy wheels, fog lamps, self-dimming side mirrors, and leather upholstery. This trim is eligible for an Infotainment Package II, which includes navigation, HD radio and a 7-speaker Bose sound system. A Preferred package adds hands-free liftgate operation, driver’s-side memory settings, 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a heated steering wheel. The SLE and SLT trims qualify for the GMC Pro Safety Plus package mentioned in the What’s New section above. The late-arriving 2021 GMC Terrain
Denali (est $40,000) includes virtually all of the SLT’s optional equipment. It also brings ritzier styling details, 19-in wheels, upgraded interior materials, and LED headlights.
The Denali is also eligible for a 360-degree camera system and an automatic parking feature. A Comfort package adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and wireless smartphone charging. A panoramic sunroof is optional in all but the base SL trim.
