Autotrader Find: 1982 Chevy Pickup With 4,600 Miles

If you’re looking for a cool old pickup, you probably already know how hard it is to find one in nice shape — largely because most trucks are bought to use, and so people use them, typically for big jobs that diminish their condition. But this particular pickup is in really nice condition.

It’s a 1982 Chevy K2500 truck, and it’s traveled just 4,600 miles from new. That’s an absolutely amazing achievement, and it’s one that’s hard to believe — it is, after all, a 37-year-old pickup truck with a mileage figure that would look out of place on a Ferrari. The Carfax report doesn’t clearly prove the odometer reading — always a question because the truck has a 5-digit odometer — but the condition sure seems to.

On the outside, the truck wears its original paint, and it’s a fantastic light blue that shines up wonderfully. The interior — also blue, of course — is even more immaculate, with little wear on the front bench seat or the steering wheel. Finding an old Chevy pickup in this condition is really, truly impossible.

For old truck enthusiasts, this one is already tremendously appealing — but it gets better, as the ad notes this is a one-owner truck. The interior of the tailgate is surprisingly rough, considering the shape of the rest of the truck, so it was certainly used for some purpose — but it definitely wasn’t used for much. It’s offered by Lot 99 LLC in Milwaukie, Oregon, for just $11,995, which I think is a bit of a bargain considering the condition. Find a Chevrolet Truck for sale

  1. I’ve seen this truck, the milage isn’t original, neither is the paint. Parts of the interior are. They didn’t paint the bed, or bother changing the pedal pads. Nice old truck but 104k, and worth about $5000.
