Autotrader Find: Brand-New 2017 Dodge Viper GTC

If you’re a Dodge Viper enthusiast, this one isn’t to be missed. This is a 2017 Dodge Viper GTC, but unlike all the other 2017 Viper GTC models, this one is still brand new. It’s also finished in the gorgeous Gulf Blue and orange color scheme made famous by various race cars decades ago — and it’s fantastic.

We’ll start with the "new" aspect of this Viper. Although these went out of production after the 2017 model year, this particular example appears to have been ordered by the owner of the dealership where it’s listed for sale — and as such, it was never titled. It has covered 486 miles, but it’s still technically "new" in the sense that you’d be the first owner if you bought it today. It’s also the last new Viper for sale on Autotrader, though I strongly suspect there are others out there.

The other cool thing about this particular car, though, is the colors. As I mentioned above, it’s finished in Gulf Blue with orange stripes, much like famous 1960s race cars, and it’s an absolutely gorgeous look for this era of Viper. Of course, the car is also in pristine condition because it hasn’t been driven much and was never titled.

This is a special car, and it could end up being one of the very last "new" Viper models, as there’s some chance the Viper will never again be resurrected after its relative failure the last time it was brought back. Still, it’s a cool car and it’s nice to see one in these colors. This one is offered by Gerry Wood Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Salisbury, North Carolina, for $349,000. Find a Dodge Viper for sale

  1. I will wager a bet that the Viper will be brought back as a mid-engine like the C8 Corvette, I’ve heard rumors already and if that’s the case it would be serious competition to Lamborghini and Ferrari.
