It’s hard to find an old-school Chevy Blazer or GMC Jimmy that’s still in nice shape, as most of these big, full-size SUVs were built to be used — and they were, indeed, quite used. But this 1982 GMC Jimmy survived the 1980s and 1990s in great shape, and now it’s listed for sale on Autotrader.
On the outside, this Jimmy is finished in red and white, as so many Jimmy models were back then, and on the inside, it’s just red, red and red. Red seats, red carpet, red dashboard — it’s all red.
It’s all nice, too. It’s been beautifully preserved and doesn’t appear too changed from how it likely looked coming off the production line in 1982. The reason for this is that it really doesn’t have that many miles on it, as the ad reports less than 70,000 miles from new — and the Carfax report seems to agree, not showing any odometer rollovers. It was apparently sold new in North Carolina, and then got a new owner in 2006 who clearly pampered it as much as the original owner did.
If you’re interested, this Jimmy is offered by AP Vintage Motors in Statesville, North Carolina, for $16,900 — a reasonable figure given its condition and given the increase in value SUVs have seen over the last few years. Find a GMC Jimmy for sale
