If you’re looking for a cheap Lotus Evora, well, too bad — it doesn’t exist. Like the smaller Elise, the Evora has retained its value quite well, and even the cheapest examples still bring big money — likely due to its impressive combination of exotic car branding, mid-engine construction and a relatively reliable powertrain. Nonetheless, this is the cheapest Evora currently listed for sale on Autotrader.
Offered by Highline Imports in Easton, Pennsylvania, this 2011 Evora 2+2 is available for $38,900. That’s still big money, but then again, the Evora is a capable car, combining its dependable Toyota Camry engine with an impressive driving experience. This particular Evora is silver with a red leather interior, and the 2+2 designation means it has four seats.
According to this Evora’s Carfax report, the first owner of this car was in Illinois, but it didn’t sell as a new model until 2014 — typical of Evora models, which often linger on dealership lots for a long time as new cars. This Evora was then driven a surprising amount, and perhaps used a daily driver, before finding its way to the selling dealership in Pennsylvania.
If you’re looking for an Evora and you want one that won’t cost a fortune, well, too bad — they’re all pretty expensive. But this is the least expensive Evora on sale.
