Later today, I’m going to show you the weirdest Hyundai you can imagine. But before that, I think it’s time to take a look at some of the most interesting Hyundai models you can buy on Autotrader. I often have these lists in mind when I film the corresponding videos, and then I create the lists later — and I have to admit, in this case, I assumed there would be a greater number of interesting Hyundai models on Autotrader than there actually is. Still, there are a few Hyundai models worth noting — and today, I’m going to show them to you.
2018 Genesis G90 for $76,712
This one isn’t a Hyundai at all — instead, it’s a Genesis G90, the flagship model of Hyundai’s new Genesis brand. And this is among the most expensive G90 models currently listed for sale on Autotrader, with an MSRP of $76,712 — a big number, but still cheaper than similarly equipped luxury vehicles from luxury brand competitors. It’s offered by Crain Genesis in Little Rock, and it’s hard to deny that this is a gorgeous car with a beautiful, well-crafted interior. Find a Genesis G90 for sale
One-Owner 1995 Hyundai Accent
This is the original Hyundai Accent — and I still remember those distinctive wheels, 20 years after they debuted in this car. There are very few early Accent models left — and among the handful on Autotrader, this is the nicest and most original, as it’s a 1-owner 1995 Accent with just 138,000 miles. I also like it because it’s painted in sort of a purplish-pink, one of the subcompact car colors of choice in the 1990s. This Accent was sold new on November 15, 1995, and served its owner faithfully for more than 20 years. It’s now on sale for $1,987 at Freedom Hyundai in rural Hamburg, Pennsylvania, near Allentown. 2003 Hyundai Accent With 14,000 Miles
You don’t see many Hyundai models — or any brand’s vehicles, really — like this. It’s a 1-owner 2003 Hyundai Accent, which is already pretty interesting, since most people don’t keep small subcompact cars for nearly 15 years. But the impressive part is the mileage: It’s covered just 14,057 miles since new, having been driven sparingly throughout its entire life. It’s currently offered for $4,995 by CarSource LLC in Grove City, Ohio, near Columbus. Find a used Hyundai Accent for sale
2012 Hyundai Equus For $11,500
This Equus is probably the best deal on this list — and one of the best deals in the automotive industry in general. Meant to rival top-shelf luxury cars like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Lexus LS, the Equus turned heads when it debuted in the early 2010s for a lot less money than those models. These days, it’s even cheaper still: This Equus, which has traveled an admittedly high 132,000 miles, is listed for just $11,500, which is deep into economy car territory — despite high-end luxury appointments, a big V8 engine and ample interior space. It’s the cheapest Equus on Autotrader, though there are many examples available for less than $15,000. Find a Hyundai Equus for sale
1994 Hyundai Excel for $700
This is both the oldest Hyundai on Autotrader and the cheapest. It’s a 1994 Hyundai Excel, which is the second-generation version of Hyundai’s initial entry into the U.S. market. Also sold as the Mitsubishi Precis, the second-generation Excel has all but disappeared from the roads — and this is the only pre-1995 Hyundai currently listed for sale on Autotrader, even though the brand originally arrived in the U.S. in 1986. It’s offered for just $700 at Mike Maroone Chevrolet in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Find a Hyundai Excel for sale
