The luxurious Buick Enclave three-row SUV has been a surprising hit since it was introduced more than a decade ago. For 2022, the Enclave will have a new look with cleaner styling than the outgoing model.
For now, Buick is remaining tight-lipped about the 2022 Enclave’s changes, though the pair of photos the automaker released show off its new looks.
Bolder design for new Buick Enclave
Up front, look for a broad, tall grille with more detail than before. It’s flanked by skinny headlights and chunky driving lamps. From the side, the Enclave continuous its curvy design, including the curious fake intakes in the front fenders that feature chrome eyebrows extending in to the front doors. At the rear, the Enclave has new taillights linked by a chrome brow.
The images Buick released show the range-topping Enclave Avenir, a model that lists for nearly $54,000 in the current 2021 Buick Enclave. That price tag isn’t likely to slide much — if at all — with the new styling, though the base Enclave Preferred is likely to stick close to $40,000 to start. All-wheel drive adds $2,000 on most trim levels in 2021.
The Enclave is also likely to carry over its 310-horsepower V6, though we wouldn’t rule out an electrified powertrain in the next few years.
The 2022 Enclave is slated to arrive this fall.
