If you’re looking for information on a newer Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, we’ve published an updated review: 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Review
The Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup is off the charts. Among others, it has the smaller GLA class and the larger GLE Class. Right in between those two is the GLC Class. Here are five reasons the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is the perfect fit for you.
The GLC 300 Coupe is powered by a snappy 2.0-liter turbo inline 4-cylinder. Merging and passing come with ease with the GLC’s solid 241 horsepower. The 4-mode Dynamic Select allows you to customize your driving experience for whatever driving mood you’re in.
Inside the GLC, you’ll marvel at how Mercedes has perfected making a classy interior, down to the meticulous detailing of where everything is placed. There are fine touches, like rich wood and the available Nappa leather steering wheel — even a beautiful panorama roof. Other premium options are nice to have, like the Air Balance Package that has a special cabin air purification system. See the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class models for sale near you
The GLC 300 Coupe has a sharp design and a sloped roofline when compared to the normal GLC. It starts up front with the iconic grille, standard low-profile roof rails and stylish standard 18-inch alloys. You can even opt for the AMG styling, which adds some sporty touches.
Up front inside, the standard screen is a 7.0-in color display, but you could also opt for the upgraded 8.4 inch. Note you do have to upgrade if you want Apple CarPlay or Android Auto via the Smartphone Integration Package. If you have to have great sound, the available Burmester audio system should keep you very satisfied. With a generous 590 watts, it produces some pretty amazing sound quality.
This Mercedes isn’t just luxurious, it’s functional too. You can do all sorts of things in the GLC 300 Coupe. The rear seats fold in 40/20/40-split. Lay them down, and you get over 56 cu ft. of cargo space to work with.
There’s a lot to like about the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. If you’re in the market, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a test drive.
