The 2019 Nissan Kicks replaces the Juke as Nissan’s sub-compact SUV. While many have lamented that its styling isn’t as distinctive and that it’s not as fun or powerful to drive, there should be no argument about interior space. The Kicks’ cabin is positively enormous for the segment. In this video, we show you how much luggage will fit in its cargo area.
Behind the back seat, the Kick has 25.3 cu ft. of space, which makes it one of the largest in the segment. Better still, you don’t have to remove a floor panel or block rearward vision to achieve that. We managed to fit all of our luggage inside, including two full-size check-in roller suitcases and three carry-on ones, plus a pair of bonus bags that only the largest in the segment can swallow. In other words, the Kicks is very impressive, providing a ton of usable space in a vehicle that’s quite small on the outside.
