Land Rover Range Rover

If the Land Rover Range Rover is good enough for the British royal family, then this large luxury SUV may be good enough for you, too. The Range Rover debuted in 1969 and quickly became a favorite among the horse-riding aristocracy. Over the years, it’s only become more majestic and palatial. Although some gray imports came to the United States in years prior, official North American models arrived in 1987. As well as being exceptionally posh, the Range Rover shows real off-roading abilities although they have a reputation for not being mechanically reliable and expensive to maintain. As of 2018, the standard engine was a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that produced 340 horsepower but there are optional 5.0-liter V8 engines capable of producing a powerful 518 hp. Standard safety features include stability control, antilock brakes and airbags all around. Depending on the exact year and model Range Rover you buy, they can tow between 5,000 - 7,700 pounds. If you are worried about fuel economy, you may want to opt for a hybrid Range Rover, plug-in hybrid Range Rover or a diesel Range Rover. Some of the popular Range Rover trims include the Autobiography, HSE, HSE Westminster Edition, Long Wheelbase HSE, Long Wheelbase Supercharged, SE, Supercharged, and SV Autobiography Dynamic versions.
