Families who like the idea of a modern minivan, but don’t want to pay full retail for a new one might be interested in the certified pre-owned market. A CPO minivan can give you the peace of mind of a thorough inspection and a manufacturer warranty while saving you good money at the dealer thanks to a few years of depreciation.
Here are five great CPO minivans that you can find on Autotrader for under $25,000 in 2019.
2014-2017 Honda Odyssey
The new Honda Odyssey that came out for the 2018 model year is a great minivan, but so is its previous generation, which has become a bargain on the CPO market. These minivans had a long enough production run that they’re easy to find certified and it’s a good way to get on of the higher end models like the Touring Elite trim at a serious discount. The Touring Elite models include lots of family-friendly features like a back-seat entertainment system with an extra big screen, an HDMI input, premium audio and even a built-in vacuum cleaner for when things get messy – not to mention a great CPO warranty from Honda. 2014-2019 Chrysler Pacifica
The brand that invented the minivan 35 years ago is still one of the masters of the family hauler. The Chrysler Pacifica has only been out for a couple years, but there are already a good amount of examples popping up on the CPO market at tempting prices to go along with the security of Chysler’s CPO program. The Pacifica is a fantastic minivan for its many family-friendly features, great ride quality and Stow ‘n Go seats. With Stow ‘n Go, the second and third rows of seats can fold flat into the floor easily turning your minivan into a cargo van in a pinch without the hassle of removing any seats. 2014-2019 Toyota Sienna
The Toyota Sienna is overdue for an update having been mostly unchanged since the 2011 model year. It’s tough to recommend buying one new considering its tough competition at similar prices, but a CPO Sienna is a great deal when couple with Toyota’s excellent CPO warranty. It has a nice, high-quality interior with tons of space for both passengers and cargo. The Sienna is also the only minivan with available all-wheel drive, which is great for families living in snowy climates who would use a little more traction in winter. On 2018 and newer Siennas, the impressive Toyota Safety Sense technology suite is standard on all trims. Find a Toyota Sienna for sale
2015-2019 Kia Sedona
The Kia Sedona, which got a really nice redesign for 2015, is one of the fastest depreciating minivans out there. That means you can find a great deal on a current-generation Sedona for well under the $25,000 mark. The Sedona might not be one of the more mainstream minivans, but it has all of the essentials of a family vehicle like great safety scores, smooth ride quality, a big interior with supportive seats and one of our favorite infotainment systems, plus all the benefits of Kia’s top-notch CPO program. 2014-2019 Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Town and Country
The Dodge Grand Caravan in its current generation is now more than a decade old making it easy to ignore on the new market, but more attractive when shopping for CPO minivans. Since the Grand Caravan is already very value-priced when new, they’re pretty abundant on the CPO market at reasonable prices with excellent CPO warranties. The Chrysler Town & Country is mechanically identical to the Grand Caravan, but only ran through the 2016 model year before being replaced by the Pacifica. Like the Pacifica, both of these vans offer versatile Stow ‘n Go seating. Find a Dodge Grand Caravan for sale or Find a Chrysler Town and Country for sale
