In months past, I have occasionally brought you Bugatti Veyron models for sale here on Autotrader — and back in October, I even let you know that there was a moment when nine total Bugatti Veyron models were listed for sale on the site. But the Veyron’s successor, the Bugatti Chiron, is now reaching customers, and so it was bound to happen: There is now a Bugatti Chiron listed for sale on Autotrader.
Admittedly, this may not be the first Chiron for sale on Autotrader, but I’m not exactly in the market for a Chiron, so I’m not really checking Chiron listings every day, and it’s the first I’ve seen. Either way, it’s certainly among the first listed for sale, and it’s quite spectacular. For those of you who don’t know the specs on the Chiron, they are as follows: 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16; roughly 1,500 horsepower; zero to 60 in 2.4 seconds; top speed “limited” to something like 261 miles per hour, for safety reasons. It’s just a marvel of insanity.
And, indeed, this one is for sale. It’s offered by Fort Lauderdale Collection South in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, just north of Miami, and it’s just as beautiful and breathtaking as you’d expect. It’s finished in black with black wheels and a black interior, with red trim on the exterior and red stitching inside. According to the listing, it has covered a mere 291 miles.
According to the listing, this Chiron is more than just a regular one; instead, it’s the first one ever made, and the 291 miles came from testing. The Carfax report lists just one entry, from when this Chiron was first offered for sale by O’Gara Coach Company, a Bugatti dealership in Beverly Hills, back in October. It appears the car made it from Beverly Hills to South Florida — clearly not under its own power — and now it’s back on the market.
And just what is that “market?” This Chiron’s price isn’t listed, but it appears the current going rate for a new one is just under $3 million — an enormous amount of money; but, then again, the Chiron is an enormous amount of car. Find a Bugatti Chiron for sale
