In case you needed further proof that you can buy just about anything you want on Autotrader, here’s a FedEx van. This isn’t some van that was once used by FedEx, so you can sort of see remnants of FedEx logos. This is a van that could be out delivering packages tomorrow afternoon, if you bought it tomorrow morning.
This van is a 2014 Freightliner Sprinter, the predecessor to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter we all know and love, and it’s offered for sale by Jason Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, which is in the rural Tennessee town of Sparta. It’s covered 198,000 miles; it’s available for $16,900; and the Carfax report shows just one committed owner. Which, of course, would be FedEx.
Besides the FedEx logos on the side, there isn’t anything especially unusual about this Sprinter, as it’s largely just a regular cargo van; it has two seats in front, a huge area in back for storing packages and a turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine. The Carfax report shows one accident, in June 2017, and a number of oil changes and maintenance records at local tire and muffler shops in Tennessee; this surprises me, as I would’ve assumed FedEx would do this sort of thing itself.
Anyway, this could be your van of choice if you’re willing to make one of those Instagram profiles where people spend their lives traveling the world in a van. Your hashtag could be #FedExVanLife. You could also get into just about any gated community you’d ever want to visit, based on the fact that you look like a FedEx delivery person. I’m just throwing out some ideas, here, folks. With the FedEx van, the world is your oyster. Find a Freightliner Sprinter for sale

I indirectly know a professional kite surfer. He happily lives out of one of these. Though if my life consisted of travelling to one beautiful beach after another and making a living doing something like kite surfing, I’d be happy anywhere.
