You might not be able to afford the new Chevrolet Corvette, but if you’re a fan of Forza you can park one in your virtual garage starting tomorrow.
Forza Horizon 4, available on the Xbox One and for Windows, announced that the Corvette Stingray will come to the gaming platform Jan. 14.
The car has been among the most requested by fans of the racing game, Forza said.
The sports car should prove as invigorating in the video game as it is in real life. All new last year, the Chevrolet Corvette made the long-awaited transformation into a mid-engine sports car.
That means it’s more like an exotic car such as a Ferrari or Lamborghini. And the Corvette’s performance numbers put it in the company of such supercars. Its nearly 500-horsepower V8 engine enables the Corvette to do 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds and hit a top speed of 194 mph.
Pushing a Corvette to its limits in real life in a way that wouldn’t land you in jail or a grave would require a track and plenty of driving expertise. Or you can do it virtually in a ‘Vette from the comfort of your couch starting tomorrow.
